Finding that you suddenly have a lot of unexpected time on your hands? Here are a few free projects from Wylde & Plumb.
LINEN STITCH WASHCLOTHS (Knit)
Check out our blog about how to make Linen Stitch Washcloths. This pattern uses up cotton scraps beautifully. The washcloths are smooth on one side and bobbly on the other, and work great for either your bathroom or kitchen.
These bags make a great alternative to those flimsy plastic bags they give you at the grocery. Worked in No. 10 crochet cotton, they're sturdy and stretchy. Make a whole set and you'll never need single-use plastic produce bags again!
SATCHIE BUTTON COWL (Crochet)
This was a commissioned piece from a lady whose neck is always cold. This sweet and simple cowl is crocheted in three colors and closes with two buttons.
PLARN SINK MAT (Crochet)
Still have a bunch of those single-use plastic bags you don't know what to do with? Make a sink mat! This will make you feel like an eco-rebel, saving the earth one plastic bag at a time. Plus, the mat washes up nicely with a dab of dishsoap squeezed through it. It wrings out, drip-dries, and is ready to protect your sink the next day.
LITTLE FLOWER MITTENS (Knit)
Spring may be coming, but little fingers can still get cold outside. (And it's never too early to do some Christmas knitting, right?) These sweet mittens are knit on flat needles in two pieces and then stitched together.
Hope you're weathering the self-quarantine well, and that you and everyone you love stays healthy and safe. If you'd like some more projects, please check out our Projects page (in the menu above) and consider joining one of our CALs or KALs!
Best wishes from Wylde & Plumb.
