That is a good idea.
My knitting is finished and I have sewn the sachet together. I am going to use a snap and button to close it, I think. I need to look for my snaps. I would like to figure out a way to use it with essential oils.
MONDAY, AUGUST 10, 2010: Final Day
Okay, it's a little sad to end so quickly! And we don't actually have to. We're happy to keep this thread going as long as anyone is working on their sachets.
Any finished photos yet?
Looks awesome carlap2
I cannot wait to get that far.
I am moving along on my sachet.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 9, 2020: Make those sachets!
Time to cast on and start working! Hopefully these will be a quick and fun project. When you get to the place where you're closing up the edges of the bag, note that you can either make the flap permanently sealed, or you can stitch it in such a way to leave them open, and make the button a real working button.
Can't wait to see your sachets!
Thanks for fielding that question, Carla! @melrod2240, were you able to find it?
I would like to join in if I can download the pattern.
I am a retired teacher. I have a cat named Purl who is a lot of company. She loves yarn and tries to grab it. I am using yellow and green yarn.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 8, 2020: FIRST DAY!
Show us your yarn and introduce yourself!
I'm posting a little bit early (posting this Friday afternoon!) because I scheduled the start day of this KAL badly. Hubs and I are leaving at 6am tomorrow and driving 3-1/2 hours up to Pennsylvania to pick up two of the kiddos from camp. Our oldest was a counselor-in-training there all summer (he's been gone since June 23!) and our youngest went up last week for her week of camp. So I'll be in the car a lot tomorrow! The drive between here and there has a lot of mountains and dead spots, so if you don't hear from me for a while, please be patient! I'll check in when I get some bars on my phone!
I'm Maria, of Wylde & Plumb! I'm just using some scraps from my stash for this one!
Looks like we have two people so far? Feel free to invite your knitting friends over for this mini-KAL, and if you have a chance tell folks in your knitting groups about it. Would be fun to see lots of photos! Hope everyone has a great Saturday!
😍
I want to make some as well. A nice pick me up gift for friends during this COVID crisis. Where do we access the pattern. I am new here.
I am going to make some!
