This gorgeous vest is knitted with minimal shaping. Sleeves are added by casting on stitches to create two T-shaped panels which are sewn together. The neckline is created with a simple decrease as you work each of the shoulders separately. The pockets are ingeniously in-set with a simple method that seems like magic, no matter how many times you do it. Smooth linen stitch creates a perfectly flat piece with nice thickness and structure. Layer it with a long-sleeved silk foundation shirt or a collared blouse. This will be a favorite sweater for years to come.
