The word “nokorimono” comes from the Japanese word for “leftovers.” The Nokorimono Pullover is a great project for using up scraps of leftover yarn.
These Squares, with their ch-1 corner stitches, make a geometrically elegant, repeated-squares design, as well as show a subtle X etched through each square. A faint hint of folding emphasizes the corner-to-corner X in the squares, and provides intriguing visual appeal when the squares are joined together.
The Nokorimono Pullover is a boxy, comfortable sweater with minimal shaping in the sleeves.
Materials:
Use any leftover scraps of yarn and whatever hook works well with them. You size this sweater according to the size of the squares you make. A sizing chart is included with this pattern.
