~180 yards (165m) of Loops & Threads Woolike (678yds/620m; 3.5oz/100g; 85% Acrylic/15% Nylon) in Ivory (or any fine #1 yarn)
Size G crochet hook
Empty cardboard toilet paper roll
Abbreviations:
ch(s) -- chain(s)
rep -- repeat
RS -- right side
sc(s) -- single crochet(s)
sk -- skip
WS -- wrong side
xs -- times
Pattern makes a 4" wide fabric. There is no WS or RS.
Ch 2, foundation single crochet 21, ch 2, turn. [22 sts]
Row 1) (sk 1, 2 scs in next st)11xs, ch 2, turn.
Rows 2-16) rep row 1 15xs more.
Row 17) (Eyelet Row) ch 1 more (total of 3 chs), sk 1, sc, (ch 1, sk 1, sc)10xs, ch 2, turn.
Row 18) 2 scs in each ch-1 sp across (including initial ch-3 sp), ch 2, turn.
Rows 19-33) rep Row 1 15xs more.
Rep Rows 17-33 till roll is as long as you prefer, ending after Row 33. Cut yarn and weave in ends. Wet and block, if needed, to fit to toilet paper roll.
